This week on 23 and 24 September our teamattended EV Charge LIVE UK and Solar & Storage UK. Held at the NEC, Birmingham, the exhibitions brought together a wide spectrum of industry stakeholders to accelerate the transition to a clean energy system.
EV Charge LIVE UK is one of the country’s largest events dedicated to EV charging infrastructure, featuring more than 150 expert speakers and 75+ exhibitors. Across three days the conferences covered themes such as scaling infrastructure deployment, grid integration and smart charging, public-private collaboration, and the electrification of fleets. Meanwhile, Solar & Storage UK showcased innovation across solar generation and energy storage, with content ranging from project design and installation to storage solutions, policy frameworks and finance.

For our team, attending these events was an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the latest industry developments, particularly in areas such as smart charging, battery deployment, and the integration of renewable generation with EV infrastructure. It also gave us the chance to meet in person with partners from across the sector, catch up over coffee, and form new relationships with innovators, partners, and policymakers. The insights gained and connections made will help inform our work and strengthen our role in supporting a secure, low-carbon energy future.
