We are delighted to announce that our Assistant Project Manager, Martha Bytof, has been shortlisted for the Communicator Award at the Scottish Renewables Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2026.
The Communicator Award celebrates individuals who have made an outstanding impact through communications, marketing and public engagement within Scotland’s renewable energy sector. Martha’s nomination is a well-deserved recognition of her commitment to engaging communities, building stakeholder relationships and helping drive the transition to a cleaner energy future.
Since joining Greenwheel Electric, Martha has led communications and stakeholder engagement for several of our flagship projects. She developed and delivered the communications campaign for the Lomondgate EV Hub, successfully supporting the project through the planning process with proactive engagement involving local communities, elected representatives and key stakeholders. She is now leading the communications strategy for our innovative Hunterston EV Hub and Solar project, helping to build positive relationships from the earliest stages of development.
Beyond individual projects, Martha plays a key role in shaping Greenwheel Electric’s communications strategy and strengthening our brand within the renewable energy sector. She has also been a passionate advocate for inclusion through her involvement in Women in EV, championing safer and more accessible EV charging infrastructure by promoting design features such as improved lighting, accessibility and welcoming public spaces.
Martha’s work demonstrates the vital role that effective communication plays in delivering renewable energy infrastructure. By creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue and ensuring communities are informed and involved, she is helping to build trust, support successful project delivery and contribute to Scotland’s ambitious net zero goals.
Everyone at Greenwheel Electric is incredibly proud of Martha’s achievement and we wish her the very best of luck at the Scottish Renewables Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2026.
