Insights from RTX Scotland's 2025 Expo
Last week, Assistant and Senior Project Managers Martha Bytof and Craig Simpson attended the RTX Scotland Expo 2025. Leveraging the opportunity to network with some of the leading voices in the industry, the Expo solidified Greenwheel Electric’s commitment to assisting people in taking charge of the drive towards sustainable transport.
During RTX Scotland Expo, one of the recurring themes Greenwheel noted was the need for scalable and reliable charging infrastructure. As electric vehicles (EVs) continue to grow in popularity, so too does the demand for accessible, efficient, and 100% renewable energy charging solutions. Greenwheel Electric expressed our commitment to supporting the future of infrastructure development through the formation of invaluable connections, as well as discussing the future of our charging hubs.
As newcomers to the EV Charging Hub industry, we are always eager to showcase the innovation of our charging solutions and how we have designed our hubs to efficiently add to rural and urban settings. A key point of Greenwheel Electric’s mission involves ensuring that each location boasts reliable charging stations, making the transition to EVs not just feasible but convenient. As well as this, we want to ensure that our Hubs are designed alongside local communities, instead of feeling like they are something that is being done to them.
Throughout RTX Scotland’s Expo, it became clear to us that a collective desire to move towards cleaner transport solutions continues to build. And, as Greenwheel continues to grow, so too does our team’s dedication to collaborating alongside industry leaders to develop incentives that encourage investment in both electric vehicle adoption and charging infrastructure rollout.
Many of the discussions Greenwheels’ Assistant and Senior Project Managers attended highlighted how collaboration can work to break down barriers that hinder our collective efforts towards decarbonisation. Our participation in these discussions not only shows our readiness but also our eagerness to contribute to these collaborative efforts. While the journey may prove challenging, we remain confident that collaborative efforts can help to achieve this.
